17th - 20th

So i'm a bit behind with my christmas journal.... was a very busy at christmas, with family and work! But here is my most recent entries...

17th Dec - As my boyfriend is away over christmas, we had presents on the 17th... I was treated to a lovely new pair of Ugg boots, lovely and snuggly!

18th Dec - Mmmmm Christmas Dinner, a yummy tradition I love!

Dec 19th - I think we should all write a letter to Santa each yr, not just children!

Dec 20th - and for todays promt 'unexpected' I had to scrap the amazing snow we've had... my dog just loves it, and it was so fun going for a walk with her!

Catch up...

Here's a few more from my christmas journal... still not completly up to date, but getting there! Sorry about the bad quality pictures, i'm at work during all the daylight hours at the mo!

Dec 16th - This year will be strange on Christmas Day... My sister is working, and my boyfriend is away so not as many of us as usual! I am grateful for the fact I am still spending the day with family, and am looking forward to a fun day!

Dec 15th - I moved out of my parents early this year, so this is the first year I will be a visitor on Christmas Day! Feels very wierd being a visitor as it still feels like home!


Dec 14th - Gifts. We always spend along time opening presents on Christmas Day. Firstly we open our stockings, alternating who opens a present when. We then move on to our main presents taking it in turn to open one. This way the presents last longer!


Dec 13th - Music, every year you know christmas is nearly here when the shops start playing christmas music and you hear it on the radio, I love it!

Dec 12th -tales of Christmas past.


Dec 11th -As children I remember always having a glittery tree over the Christmas period. This year I was determined to find one, and I did, on the 11th. I love looking at it as it reminds me of my childhood!

Snow!!

How exciting was it this morning to see soo much snow! Bit of a nightmare for my boyfriend as he had to leave at 2am to drive to Austria, it wasn't easy to even get out of this country!

I have fallen a bit behind on JYC, was up to date on Sunday but haven't had time in daylight to take any pictures and haven't had much time this week with work etc to do many pages. Hopefully I will catch up over the weekend, and next week!

8th, 9th and 10th

8th - what do you see today?

I was really excited this year having moved into my own flat, to buy all new decorations to decorate the tree. It took me a long time to decide on the colours, but I am so pleased with how it looks! On the 8th I put the tree up and decorated it so was happy to be looking at glistening baubles and twinkling lights...

9th - Christmas Tradtions...

Every year as children, on christmas eve we would it down to watch Santa Claus the Movie before putting the mince pies out for santa. Now we both still love the film but have less patience and normally watch it (probably more than once!!!) at some point throughout december!



10th - Wrapping the Presents...

I LOVE wrapping christmas presents so they look really pretty under the tree... This year I am wrapping my main gifts to people in brown paper decorated with cinammon sticks, dried oranges and pine cones. I am also giving my mum and dad some extra little bits which I am wrapping in silverly and white paper, that will be slightly different for each of them.



I intend to be fully up to date at the end of the weekend, as have had a week off work this week and go back on monday, so will probably struggle to stay on track! Fingers crossed i'll be ok though! xx

Starting to feel more festive now, although I have put up my fake tree in my flat, this afternoon I am going to pick a real one with dad, for mum and dads where I will be spending christmas. Can't wait!! xx

Welcome to my blog!!
I have been busy this week 'journalling my christmas', my journal is 8x8 but I am putting different sized pages inside to make it more interesting. My aim is to try and keep up to date as much as I can but we'll see!

Heres my first few entires:-

1st December, my manifesto. I kept this post simple, I love chrismtas and I want to journal this christmas so I remember it in years to come.


Dec 2nd, Winter Weather.


Dec 3rd, postal service. This year so far I have recieved no cards, sent no cards and have yet to make any cards! Hopefully this will change in the next few weeks!


Dec 4th, perfection. For me one of the most important things on christmas day is for the table to look it's best! I love how perfect it looks...

Dec 5th, counting down the days.
