Document 2010 - October

My pages for October - (sorry about the poor quality pics) I wanted to pages to reflect how its the start of Autumn. My main memory of this month was my gorgeous nephew being born. On 10/10/2010! I chose the two images for my main page of him dressed as a pumpkin on halloween - soo cute!

FINALLY SNOW

We finally have snow in Essex, I think it has taken the longest to get here but it's come and it hasn't stopped! It has been snowing all day and is getting heavier again now... eeeek I love it!


The snow day has let me finish off my September pages. I did something different for the first page, I used all the bits I collected and collaged them onto the page, adding some paper and alphas. I used the gorgeous All Inclusive by Bella Bvld as a big part of September was my holiday in Ibiza.
I am now looking forward to starting the 2010 'journal your christmas' class from Shimelle...
I am guessing the first page might include snow...

Tulum...

We visited these ruins whilst on holiday in Mexico in March. There is alot of Mayan history around the area including these situated on the coast. It was quite a windy day when we went but the contrast in the colour of the water and the sand was spectacular....

We held a fireworks party on Saturday and just wanted to share this pic of the bonfire - the garden is now ruined but it was fun and has all winter to recover :) xx

August...

Another month of documenting done...

August was a busy month and we went away most weekends - to bath for a wedding and then camping a few times.

I kept the pages bright and summery - even if the weather wasn't always the same!

So I am slowly working my way through Document 2010...
although admittedly not in order...

Here are my pages for May using the gorgeous Green at Heart papers from Basic Grey. I loved using the organza flowers too.

I choose the pictues for my main page, as it was such a good day in a beautiful place...

It's been too long!

What a busy few months it has been! So much has gone on, have moved into a house and the weather has been amazing and we have been making the most of the garden. Finally unpacked my scrapping stash! So will update pics of my lo's soon but just wanted to share a pic of our gorgeous sunflower, not sure I had my hipstamatic camera on the best setting but just wanted to catch the bumble bee :)

Doc 2010 March

I have been having a busy busy few months - resulting in not alot of time for scrapping or blogging but hopefully now will have more time!

I had the most amazing holiday to Mexico in march over my birthday, so my Document 2010 March was easy! I have been naughty and completed this month before Feb - must catch up or i'll end up left behind! Lots of photos and memoriablia to include in my envelope this month...


I still have hundreds of photos to scrap from my holiday so watch this space!

And I will try and get feb's pages done before april's! xx

Document 2010...

Here are my January pages for Shimelle's Document 2010 class on UKS....

I loved making the small 'bitesize' pages containing my favourite memories of the month... It is a great project as there is never enough time to scrap every memory!

The highlight of the month was our family weekend away, and I just had to scrap the picture of my dog, Misty on a boat trip to see the seals... Her first boat trip!


I kept the same colours running through all the pages especially the two full pages. Not sure I will do this every month! We'll see....

Pancakes.....

I LOVE pancake day!! It's definatly one of my fav days of the year....

We had a treat at morning break at work.... Choc and banana from the crepe stall mmmm, could eat another one now! XX

The Emperor Fraser

This is a recent LO of the boat we stayed on whilst diving last year in the Red Sea. It was home for a few days, and after all the cold weather I felt like scrapping a summery bright picture!!

The end of my christmas journal...

... for this year!

So unfortunatly I have not managed to keep up to date thoughout the christmas season, so have decided to end my journal this year on Christmas Day!

I have just returned from a lovely weekend away with all the family, and look forward to scrapping the pictures! Watch this space....

Dec 21st - Today I spent the day wrapping my presents and watching Christmas films.

Dec 22nd - I am totally organised for Christmas day now as I have work now until late Christmas eve :( ....

Dec 23rd - Stockings...


I am still catching up with my journal, but have been keeping notes all the way through so shouldn't take me too long to finish now.... My aim is to have it completed by the end of Jan!
