More layouts from the 'Disney Cruise' album to share with you today...
I want the album to be cohesive and have kept the colours bright. I am loving using two 6x4 photos beside each other at the moment and also using different alphabets mixed together.

Jet skiing is one of our main hobbies at home and so it was inevitable we would end up hiring some at some point on the holiday. The jet skis we hired were a little bit worse for wear and one constantly broke down! It actually made it really funny and defiantly memorable!

On Disney's private island - Castaway Cay there is SO much attention to detail, it's very subtle but nice to walk around and notice everything. I love the colours in this page especially the pop of pink.

Rather than have photo albums and scrapbooks for different holidays and occasions I am going to incorporate them together in an album with a mixture of layouts, 6x4 picture pages and some journalling. I started off with the Disney cruise album. Having not scrapped for a while it's so fun to go through all my papers and stash to decide what to use. I put together a few makeshift 'kits' to work with alongside some kits I had from Sarah's cards to start myself off.

There is the most fantastic flume on the ship called the 'aquaduck' - at the beginning of it actually goes over the edge of the ship and you can see the ocean beneath, scary stuff! I wanted to use bright colours and blues to tie in with the colour of the picture with a splash of pink and orange.

On the last day off the cruise we disembarked early in the morning and didn't fly home until the evening so we hired a car and spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon water park. The wave is MASSIVE and it suddenly starts from the back, builds up and then throws you through the water!

We spent one day at St Marrten and in the afternoon hired quadbikes and drove around the whole island. It was such a cool way to see so much of the island and the boys loved the adventure!

More to follow....
What a busy year it's been... Excuse the lack of blogging/scrapping!

For the past year I have been planning and organizing a wedding, which took up a fair chunk of my time whilst not at work. The day was AMAZING and worth every single second of planning and I would actually love to do it all again... A few pictures below (more of which will be shown throughout my wedding scrapbook)

For our honeymoon we went away to New York and then onto Mexico for 2 weeks. It was the best holiday ever and it was so nice to be away for longer than a week to do everything we wanted to which ranged from days drinking cocktails on the beach to swimming with whale sharks and zip wiring through the jungle - all this after fitting in all the sights in New York!

I have been busy with other things too throughout the year from a snowboarding holiday in France, spending time on my parents new boat, jet skiing (as usual!) and having the most amazing two hen parties. Me and my husband (!!) also were lucky to be able to go on a week long Disney cruise around the Caribbean in May as his brother works on board. It was great to get a break to chill out a bit only a few months before the wedding before it got too busy! I was also lucky to be able to go to the Olympic closing ceremony with my parents and sister which was incredible.

A very busy year - time to relax now and do some scrapping....

Sunday Scrapping

Slowly but surely getting through documenting my 2011 pages...

What with travelling so far to work at the moment and trying to plan a wedding I am having to find odd 5 minutes here and there to scrap!
February feels like such a long time ago now - so much has changed since then! But I enjoy looking back at what I did during the month.

The focus page is if my sister and I walking along the suffolk coastal path whilst away in Iken for the weekend. Every year we all go away for a weekend and this year was the first year we had little Benjamin with us which was very entertaining! It's the first time I have used Glimmer mist and I love it and can't wait to try it out in different ways!

Engagement!!

In March Chris and I went away for a long weekend on a canal boat holiday on the Llangollen canal in Wales. On the Saturday morning, after going through a staircase of locks, Chris got down on one knee and proposed! I am over the moon about it, and never expected it for one minute - he is good at surprises!! It took me a few weeks to get over the shock and we still haven't got very far with the wedding planning... but will!

This is the only page I have scrapped from that weekend so far, I have been struggling finding time to scrap now I am travelling a lot further for work and have been busy busy at the weekends - but have decided to dedicate a certain amount of evenings to scrap!

November 2010 pages...

Just a quick one to share my document 2010 pages for November.
I used Echo Park 'Wintertime' papers, and love them! They worked well with the theme that ran throughout my pages - winter and getting excited about Christmas :)

For my feature page, I used photo's taken when we went ice skating at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park - Chris arranged it as a surprise for me, and it was so much fun although freezing! I love the little ice skates I cut out from a journaling tag - perfect for this page! xxxx
